Joining the Old with the NewEvery new home needs a new yard! At this site we tapped into our creativity and years of experience to design and develop a beautiful new landscape to compliment this brand new home (as seen on the left). It was our first opportunity to work with the new Baltimore Series supplied by Gilbert Block. This job included a little bit of everything from retaining walls, granite steps, walkways, patios, lawn, irrigation, and planting.
There are two paver walkways creating an entry way from the driveway to the front and side of the home. The stepping stone connecting the front yard to the waterfront meets an outdoor patio with access from the basement slider. We matched the existing stairs leading the water’s edge, bringing together the old and with new. We hope the new owners will enjoy their yard for years to come. |
Upgraded Hardscape StairwayA before and after view of a stairway leading from our customer's garage. Many of the stones were held loosely together and with age, the steps were moving out of place. Besides creating an enhancing visual walkway, this stairway has been upgraded to a secure passage with a safe design.

Landscape, Hardscape & Outdoor KitchenTogether with the owner we were able to design a beautiful outdoor kitchen space featuring a stainless steel gas grill, blue-stone counters, and a large wood burning fireplace. The outdoor kitchen was implemented and blended into the existing blue-stone patio for a seamless flow. It is now an enjoyable place for the owner to cook and spend time with friends and family while taking in the view of Lake Winnisquam, truly completing his patio and outdoor entertaining area
Because of the beauty of the outdoor kitchen the homeowner was inspired to complete the hillside on the back of his home and curb appeal at the front of his home. The back hillside of the home is unique because it provides a walking path to the association clubhouse, and private shared waterfront on Lake Winnisquam.
